This will be another exciting year for everyone here at the Ranch.  We have some new adventures planned for 2017 and our schedule is filling up fast! Come, take Cowboy Dressage, Trail, Jumping, English or Western horseback riding lessons, follow us on some of the neatest trail rides offered in our region. We have added cattle to our Ranch this past winter and we are excited to share them with everyone and their horses. Instead of going to many open shows this year, we are going to work more with our cattle and some clinics here at home. Whatever your dream, we can help bring it to fruition. I encourage each and every one of you to come and join in the fun.  Be a part of the Pine Ranch Family!

Cost: $100 per person. This will include one of our famous Ranch lunches.

This clinic is designed to give you hands on experience in the necessary ground work for the eventual breaking for your halter broke yearling. Bring your own baby who is halter broke and knows how to stand tied or use one of ours. Find out what niche your horse will be skilled for. Learn how to yield the forehand and hind quarters from the ground in preparation for riding. Learn how to teach your baby to give to poll pressure. Introduce your yearling to our obsatcle course. Depending on our group, we may use one of our Ranch horses to teach your baby how to pony from another horse. Finally, you will learn how to introduce the saddle and saddle pad. This will be a fantastic opportunity to further your partner's education and make your work at saddle time less dramatic! We will begin promptly at 8 am. so please arrive as early as you need to get your baby settled in for working. Limited spaces.

2 & 3 Year Old First Saddling Clinic

When: May 28th

Where: The Ranch

Cost: $150 per rider. This will include one of our famous Ranch lunches.

Have you been waiting for an opportunity for someone to be around the first time you climb on your two year old? Here is your opportunity! This Clinic is designed for two and three year olds that are ready to ride. This is not and will not be a bronc class. Please provide your own two or three year old that is ready for it's first ride. This means that your horse is familiar with giving to pressure either with a bit or halter, wearing a saddle and saddle pad and is comfortable moving at a walk, trot, lope under saddle. This will be a safe environment for your first ride in a supervised and controlled setting. The Ranch does have a hand full of two year olds that will be ready for their first ride by the clinic date so if you have always wanted to learn to do this in a safe fashion that the horse understands, here is your opportunity. Come for the entertainment. Come for the experience. We will guarantee excellent fellowship and adventure! Limited space is available.

We will start promptly at 9:00 am.

Spiritual/Energetic Horsemanship

Class #1

When: June 11th 2017

Where: The Ranch

Cost: $30 per person. Bring your own horse or use one of ours.

Pine Ranch is pleased to announce their first Emotional/Spiritual based horsemanship series. July 11th 1pm to 3pm. $30 each. Bring your horse or use one of ours.

Come with us to experience a journey of discovery into the true nature and spirit of the horse and into self-discovery that will empower your relationships with horses and people. We will explore how horses and humans communicate energetically, emotionally and spiritually and how you can use this method of communication to develop a heartfelt connection that creates a joyful partnership with yourself and others; horse or not. You will learn to develop a mutually respectful, trusting, harmonious and loving relationship with the horse by working with the energy, spirit and psychology of the horse using our unique energy consciousness. We will incorporate aspects of natural horsemanship and classical training principles. The horse is a mirror of our inner thoughts, beliefs and possibilities (or not). To be self-reflective is to open the sensate part of ourselves that is still an animal. As humans, this biological birth right is often rusty and uncared for. It is taught out of us at an early age, simply through ignorance. This class will be focused on you – the person. We’ll deal with how to overcome fear and self doubt. You will be able to build confidence in yourself and your horse and how to become an empowered, benevolent leader. Many aspects of this journey will have a powerful impact on your whole life – not just on your relationship with a horse. In this session you will begin to develop your intention, direction, confidence, and follow-through helping you to find balance mentally, physically and spiritually.
