Sire: King's Travelin Dude AQHA (King Court Jester X Lina Lee)

I could not find any real information on this stallion as far as show record or credentials.

Please remember that when I purchased Twister, I did not have much experience in buying horses on the internet and I was only looking for a big, colored, foundation bred horse who had a good mind. Twister was my first stallion that I owned myself. My goal for my breeding program was foals that would stay sound and that anyone could ride/train. Twister has proven himself over the years. You can see how my program has changed.

Raise, break and train your own foal.

Hired Hands Traveler was a 1997 quadruple registered buckskin dun stallion. "Twister" is 94% foundation bred and was registered with the NFQHA, FQHA, the IBHA, and the AQHA.  He was an approved stallion additionally with APHA and ApHC. Anne gave lessons on this fine stallion who earned the trust and admiration of all who knew him. Seems there wasn't anywhere he couldn't be ridden by just about anyone. He was known to pony open mares, be ridden in arenas with unknown loose horses, and was a master on the trails and in town. He even pulled us on our toboggan in the snow! He proved himself to be athletic, sensitive, and intelligent. Twister was trained to second level dressage, excelled in his working cow and reining training, and had been taught to lie down on command. Powerful, sensible, and agile; he was a blast to ride. You should have seen him pull! Of course his good nature, conformation, and disposition came as a result of impeccable breeding. Twister boasted such lines as King (32 times), Grey Badger, Little Joe, Old Sorrel, Poco Bueno, and Traveler in his background. As you can see, substance and temperament set him apart from the rest.  He produced 80% color. All of his offspring have their sire's quiet, willing disposition topped off with lots of size and substance. We loved Twist and he lives on in the legacy he left behind in his offspring and in the memories of each of the students he touched in his fabulous career here at Pine Ranch. Rest in peace big man. We all loved you so much.
